Yoga Tune Up® Series at Two Roads CrossFit

A 4-class program of recovery yoga for athletes will be offered at Two Roads CrossFit in June/July. This package is included in Two Roads memberships, and non-members are also welcome to join! Use the code YOGATUNEUP and sign up online for classes on Monday, 6/12 (7-8 pm); and Saturday, 6/17, 6/24 and 7/1 (10:30-11:30 am). Cost for non-members is $10 per class with the code.

This Yoga Tune Up® class combines elements of alignment-based yoga, corrective exercise, self-myofascial massage using the Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Plus balls, and stress reduction. Find and heal your body blind spots: areas that are overused, underused, misused, or abused. Improve mobility, flexibility, and strength as you calm your nervous system and enhance your breath quality and capacity. Learn to live better in your body!

Yoga Tune Up®: Breathe In, Bliss Out

Most of us can easily accelerate from zero to sixty in a heartbeat, but do you know how to “decelerate” from sixty to zero just as fast? From the soles of your feet to the crown of your head and everywhere in between, you will explore all the micro-regions of your body with Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls and excavate tension from your joints and tissues. A full-body “rolling” session will be followed by a guided iRest® Yoga Nidra practice with special attention to the breath, infusing you with a sense deep, conscious relaxation and well-being. You will leave feeling refreshed in body, mind and spirit.

Yoga Tune Up®: Hip Heaven

Open and stable hips are essential to so many yoga postures. This hip workshop will guide you through creative and challenging techniques that will create new spaciousness and stability in the hip joint, increase your range of movement, and improve your alignment in many classic postures. A combination of dynamic movements, static poses, and myofascial massage techniques using the Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls will be followed by a guided iRest® Yoga Nidra practice, which will allow you to experience a state of deep, conscious relaxation.
